For the cost you might get more out of self hosting. But that would depend on your knowledge of websites (or having a handy friend who is good at such things.) It could be worth it however.
I guess my knowledge is rather poor, but I can probably learn. I think I would enjoy the design options (like new fonts and stuff like that). Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
