One of the first things I did when I moved to Stockholm was to buy a big map over the forest I had just around the corner. I quickly found this beautiful shelter where I actually overnighted once. I returned to the spot many times during a few years. Last weekend I found it again, this time by accident! 😍
Strange – it should be snow now.
I guess I should use the tripod, but I’m not that ambitious. 😀
A cell phone pic taken when leaving office. Nothing more, nothing less.
I spent Christmas eve at my father’s place in Sätrabrunn and on my way back home to Stockholm I had to make some photo stops. I love snow, but the grey weather is really nice too (at least when you are out with the camera). 📸
When I would re-create myself, I seek the darkest wood, the thickest and most interminable and to the citizen, most dismal, swamp. I enter as a sacred place, a Sanctum sanctorum. There is the strength, the marrow, of Nature.

…that kind of suits me. 😁
Thanks mr Thoreau for those words.
Okej, jag behöver inte vandra 3 mil ut i ingemansland för att hitta den där känslan. Det räcker med att sitta på en stubbe, ett par hundra meter bort från närmsta bilväg, i någon random-skog sådär. 🌲
