Pics from today’s trip to Äppelfabriken café (the Apple Factory Café).
If you are in Stockholm and intend to visit the Royal Palace Drottningholm, I suggest that you skip that Tourist Trap and keep on driving for another 10 minutes or so. You will end up in an apple paradise, filled with lovely pastries, home made glögg and rhubarb jam. Nosy sheep, not to forget.
Äppelfabriken’s apple pie with vanilla sauce – far better than a Royal Shrimp Sandwich – I say.

It’s late summer in Sweden, and yesterday I made the most of it by taking a walk on Djurgården and a coffee break in the sun outside the best café in town.
Cellphone pics with grunge and drama filter.
Note to self: food and grunge filter is a bad combo.
I thought I saw a fibre – but no – it was a hair from chef.
But hey, it was worth it. I found Flickorna Helin & Voltaire Café on Djurgården this summer.
Coffee table with a view. Café Drömkåken, Edsbro.
More Paris. And as usual: stylish. No mismatching. No missing chair legs.
Already missing the French Brasserie- and Café Days.
