After a Paris trip with only a cellphone as photo equipment I’m dusting off my Nikon. Feels good! Used a 55-200 lens and paparazzied this little friend through my living room window.

Lessons learned
I hate to take selfies, nothing looks natural. However, one thing I learned today is that if I have the camera in front of my face I don’t have to pout. Good thing.
I also learned that I turn my head slightly left/down when looking through the lens – I can see that from this pic!
That’s why I can’t get my horizon horizontal.
Note to self: small step for mankind, one giant leap for me.

Something new and something borrowed
New flower in (Pelargonium ×hortorum ‘Mårbacka’) and a borrowed macro lens. Fun combination but a new item to my wishing list: Macro lens.
Note to self: need to be good until Christmas.
