We’ve had wildfires too, on Lancashire moorland just a few miles away. It’s a horrible thing to witness. The beauty and peace in your picture is an eloquent contrast – the mind tries to refigure the smoke into mist or cloud. I hope fire-quenching rain soon comes.
I hope the fire is out soon! Wildfires in California, south of Las Vegas where I am, have produced so much smoke that we have had what is called Smoke Fog. Coming from hundreds of miles away. Sad!
I’m so sorry to hear of the fires … and may you get some much needed rain.
